With this campaign, I wanted to reposition AARP to a company that fights back against old people being “boring”. I want to show that old people are able to do things that younger people can’t. AARP is a brand for old people that do things that make them feel young again. In this vein, we came up with the tagline Ageless Rebels. Growing old isn’t about joint pain and social security checks, it’s about doing the things you’ve always wanted to or never been able to do.
